Colombian hammocks

Hammocks from Colombia are very beautiful and usually handmade. The most exclusive hammocks in the world are the Wayuu hammocks. The hammocks of the Wayuu Indians are very unique and it takes the Indian about 4 months to make a very nice one. In addition to the exclusive Wayuu hammocks, they also make cheaper ones but these are incomparable to the traditional hammocks from the Marañon collection. We have been producing the Momposina series for 30 years. These hammocks are very attractive to hang in the house but can of course also in the garden. The Momposina hammock takes about 2 weeks of hand labor and is dyed with natural dyes collected from the tropical rainforest in Colombia.

The Yaguas series is the commercial Colombian hammock that we have been producing since the 80s. This size is smaller than most of our hammocks and therefore is also a lot cheaper. The Yaguas Medium is single and is not one of our premium hammocks. We therefore give the Yaguas hammock a 2-year warranty against breakage.
